Proposed Constitutional Amendment: War Powers by Public Vote

A Proposed 28th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America
2nd Draft, March 17, 2008, by Mike Garofalo

I recently reflected, somewhat tongue in cheek, on other proposed 28th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

If I prayed, which I don’t, I would plead to dear old St. Patrick, “Dear St. Patrick, please help us all find a way to peace and please drive away all the deceitful and profiteering warmongers; and, please don’t drive out any of those lovely slithering snakes for the sake of diversity. In Athena’s name we pray, amen.”
